These tasty little oysters are given a light natural smoke to finish them off before being packed into cottonseed oil. They make a great snack with a light white wine or they go great in a New Orleans style sandwich.
Smoked Oyster Spread (Makes 4 Servings)
- 2 cans (3.75 oz.) Geisha® Smoked Oysters
- 2 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 6 Tbsp. fresh dill
- 8 sprigs fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. chopped green onion
- Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Chill for at least two hours or overnight if possible. Serve on your favorite cracker.
